Wyndham isn’t exactly well known for having a ton of aspirational properties, but it has been making inroads with that over the last year or two, particularly when it comes to all-inclusives.
Thanks to a new partnership with Palladium Hotel Group, there are now five all-inclusive hotels in Ibiza and Menorca (two of Spain’s Balearic Islands) that are – or should soon be – bookable with Wyndham Rewards points. While these will all presumably have award pricing at the top tier of Wyndham’s range, that could still represent good value compared to the cash rates being charged.

- Palladium Hotel Palmyra
- Palladium Hotel Menorca
Of these five properties, only the latter one – Palladium Hotel Menorca – seems to be showing as bookable with Wyndham right now; the other four properties have been saying they’re unavailable for the dates I’ve selected no matter which dates I’ve chosen. I’m assuming that’s just teething problems with this new partnership and that they’ll be bookable with cash or points via Wyndham soon.
That means I’ve only been able to check rates for the property in Menorca. The potential value here could be very good, especially if you want to visit in high season. I checked August 6-10 as that’s prime summer season in Europe and the cheapest room – a Deluxe Sea View room – was €511.32 (~$540). Wyndham has three award tiers – 7,500, 15,000 and 30,000 points and, as you might expect, this property is priced at that 30,000 point top tier. Still, that’s very good value compared to the cash rate as you’d be getting 1.8cpp (cents per point) of value, or 2cpp of value if you have a Wyndham card that offers a 10% discount on award stays.
What makes this even better though is that it’s not only that base level Deluxe Sea View room that’s bookable for 30,000 points. It looks like every room type is bookable for that same rate, such as the Deluxe Family Sea View room which includes a king bed, a double sofa bed and a furnished balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. For those same dates in August the cost is €799.44 (~$840), so that’s better than 3cpp of value if you’re eligible for the 10% award discount.
The ability to book these premium rooms with points might be inadvertent, so if this property appeals to you and you have the points available, it could be worth making a reservation ASAP in case things change on that front.

Wyndham isn’t the only game in town if you’re interested in all-inclusive resorts on Menorca. Hyatt has a partnership with Alua and there are many of their properties bookable for the same dates in August from 18,000-23,000 Hyatt points per night. However, be sure to properly research those Alua properties because not all of them are all-inclusive or., if they are, award nights might not be all-inclusive. For example, you can get a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen at AluaSun Lago Park for less than $200 per night in August (or from 18,000 Hyatt points per night, although there’s no award availability for those dates). However, that only gets you the apartment – if you’d like breakfast or half-board, that’ll come at an extra cost. In fact, I’m not seeing an all-inclusive option there.
