A new Chase Offer for Giftcards.com showed up in the last day or two which is giving 5% back on gift card purchases. Even better is that it has a high spending limit and you can use the offer on each of the Chase cards you can load it on to.
The Deal
- Get 5% back on Giftcards.com purchases with a Chase Offer.
Key Terms
- Expires December 31, 2024.
- $50 maximum cashback.
- Offer valid one time only.
- Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.
- Offer valid online only.
- Offer not valid on purchases made using third-party services, delivery services, or a third-party payment account (e.g., buy now pay later).
- Offer only valid on U.S. purchases.
Quick Thoughts
This is a nice little offer, especially with the high spending limit of up to $1,000 to max out the $50 cashback potential. Be sure to note though that there’s a limit of one purchase per Chase card that you load the offer to, so don’t spend $200 in five separate transactions on the same card if you want to earn that full $50 back.
The statement credit is in addition to other saving and/or earning opportunities. For example, you can currently save 6% on virtual Visa gift cards, as well as 10%-20% on many different third party gift cards.
You can also click through from a shopping portal to earn rewards. Be aware that the 6% Visa gift card deal is apparently non-commissionable and so you likely won’t earn anything by clicking through from a portal. However, regular purchases as well as the 10%-20% discounts should work through a shopping portal. If you have a high targeted cashback rate from Capital One Shopping that could be a good option. Otherwise, remember that most airline shopping portals are currently offering bonus points/miles when hitting spending thresholds.
As always with Chase Offers, you can redeem the offer on more than one credit card provided you’re targeted on 2+ cards.
