American Express has launched a new transfer bonus, with this one giving a 25% bonus when transferring Membership Rewards to JetBlue. While that might sound like a potentially good deal, it puts the transfer ratio at parity for the number of points you’ll be transferring which makes it less exciting.

Quick Thoughts
Unlike Chase and Citi which transfer to JetBlue on a 1:1 basis, American Express has long only offered a 250:200 ratio which isn’t as good. As a result, this 25% transfer bonus bumps that ratio up to 250:250.
That’s clearly better than the standard ratio, but with the value of JetBlue points being tied to cash fares, you’re still not going to get outsized value by making use of this transfer bonus.
